$1,350,000 Settlement for Product Liability / Wrongful Death / Metabolife

Carol Forte obtained a settlement in this product liability case in which a young woman who was taking a Metabolife diet supplement died from the effects of ephedrine. Metabolife was sued by hundreds of people around the country for heart damage that resulted in heart attacks and strokes and arrhythmias. Metabolife filed for bankruptcy, and this case was settled for $1,350,000.
