$1.8 Million Consent Judgment for Product Liability

This product liability case involved a defective soil re-mediation machine that cleans toxic soil. A rotating part of a machine caught part of the plaintiff’s clothing and pulled his right arm, causing a circular fracture and severely damaging the biceps area. A few days after the trial judge approved the settlement, the appeals court upheld the judgment.
