$195,000 Settlement for Slip and Fall at Hotel

The firm represented a woman who tripped on a table cloth at a hotel wedding reception. The fall caused a serious upper arm fracture. The firm proved that the hotel’s staff did not perform an inspection prior to the reception which would have showed that the table cloth were far too large for the table causing it to pool onto the floor in an area where guests needed to walk. The firm settled the matter prior to trial for $195,000.
