$3 Million Settlement for Elderly Man Over-Medicated

Due to a lack of communication among the nursing and physician staff caring for a 67-year-old man, he was over-medicated with a drug that resulted in a pulmonary cardiac arrest.

He sustained severe brain damage and has been in a coma for more than three years. He is not expected to live much longer.

Blume Donnelly attorney John Blume settled the case for $3 million, with a confidentiality agreement that neither the names of the plaintiff or the defendants be revealed.
