$310,000 Settlement for Pedestrian Accident

John Molinari represented a 77-year-old woman who, in the course of her employment as a crossing guard, was requesting that an illegally parked car move to avoid partially blocking the intersection. As the woman stood in the crosswalk, she was violently struck by another driver who claimed that his view of the plaintiff was blocked by the illegally parked car. The plaintiff underwent four surgical procedures to repair her dislocated knee and also developed post-operative infections.

The case settled against the illegally parked car and the car that struck her for a total of available insurance: $310,000.
