Confidential Settlement

Jeffrey Zenna represented a man traveling on his motorcycle when he was struck and killed by a driver of a car who exited the parking lot. The defendant denied any wrongdoing and maintained he made a complete stop at the stop sign.

Through investigation and discovery, Mr. Zenna discovered a surveillance video that recorded the accident and proved the defendant driver was at fault.  In addition, the driver denied being in the course of his employment at the time of the accident, however, further investigation discovered facts to prove the driver was in the course of employment as a delivery person for a local restaurant, therefore, triggering more insurance coverage available for the accident. The case settled and the proceeds of the settlement will be invested to benefit the plaintiff’s wife and children.
