$365,000 Settlement for Truck Accident / Driver Fell Asleep

In this motor vehicle accident case, Blume Donnelly partner David M. Fried represented the estate and family of a 47-year-old truck driver who died when his truck rear-ended another tractor trailer which was illegally parked on the shoulder of a Pennsylvania interstate highway. The truck driver fell asleep at the wheel after being required by his employer to drive in excess of allowable hours with inadequate breaks for sleep. Mr. Fried settled this case for $365,000.
