$300,000 Settlement for Motor Vehicle Accident

Blume Forte partner John E. Molinari and associate Jessica Di Bianca represented a Bergen County woman who was involved in a motor vehicle accident wherein she sustained a torn meniscus (knee), as well as cervical (neck) and thoracic (chest) spine injuries (including disc herniation and bulges). Our client required arthroscopic knee surgery, as well as a cervical disc fusion 4 years after the accident. She had 2 subsequent motor vehicle accidents which created some question as to the fusion surgery being related to the first accident. She also had some indications of degenerative spine conditions not related to her accident. Despite these significant causation issues, Mr. Molinari and Ms. Di Bianca were able to settle this difficult claim for $300,000 on the first day of trial.
