$1.2 Million Settlement for Auto Accident Death and Injuries

John Blume obtained a $700,000 recovery for the estate of a 73-year-old Hunterdon County woman and $500,000 to her daughter, also injured, when the mother’s van was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer while stopped in traffic in Hopewell Twp. As a result of the collision, the mother suffered multiple fractures and internal injuries, and died 15 days later. The daughter, who sustained a concussion and aggravated a preexisting neurological disorder in the collision, also recovered for emotional distress for witnessing the infliction of fatal injuries to her mother.
