$990,000 Settlement for Auto Injuries

Blume Donnelly lawyer Ken Elwood was able to obtain a $990,000 settlement on behalf of a man who suffered serious injuries in a head-on collision with a truck. The client had no recollection of how the accident occurred due to the severity of his injuries. He was in intensive care for 30 days, and ultimately required an above the knee amputation. The truck driver claimed that the client had crossed over the double yellow line, causing the collision. Through the use of an accident reconstruction expert, Ken was able to convince the trucker’s insurance company that their client was at fault, and they agreed to pay their policy limits (one million less $10,000 for property damage to car).
