$407,500 Recovery for Car Accident Injuries Caused by Drunk Driver

Blume Donnelly partner John Molinari represented a cab driver who was struck head-on by a driver who had been drinking at a local bar. The cab driver was hospitalized for several months before recovering. The drunk driver had a very limited policy of insurance, however, Mr. Molinari was able to prove that the bar knew or should have known that the driver was drunk and was, therefore, partially responsible for the cab driver’s injuries. The bar contributed $350,000 to the settlement.
