$275,000 Settlement – Motor Vehicle Accident | Underinsured Motorist Claim

John E. Molinari represented a 45 year old plaintiff who was injured in a motor vehicle crash while entering Route 17 South in Mahwah, New Jersey.  The defendant claimed that she was trying to enter the gas station off the highway as the plaintiff was accelerating on the shoulder.  Plaintiff claimed injuries to her left elbow, low back, and her neck.  The defendant driver had a policy of insurance with a maximum recovery of $25,000.00 that was offered and accepted during litigation approximately one year post-collision.  The case then proceeded on an underinsured motorist claim and settled for an additional $250,000.00 following a successful neck surgery that was performed two and a half years post-accident.
