Attorney Bio
John Burke is an Associate at Blume Forte. His practice focuses on automobile accidents, premises liability, and general negligence matters.
Prior to joining the firm, John served as an Assistant Prosecutor for the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office. During his tenure at the Prosecutor’s Office, he served in the Pre-Trial and Trial Units. He was ultimately promoted to Assistant Chief Prosecutor for the Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit, where he investigated and prosecuted high profile motor vehicle collisions resulting in felony charges. John has tried multiple cases to verdict, including two homicides.
John earned his undergraduate degree in Government and Law from Lafayette College before attending Rutgers Law School, where he was a cum laude graduate, and a member of both the Rutgers University Law Review and the Moot Court Board. During his third year of law school, John clerked for Blume Forte. Upon graduation, John served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Carmen Messano, Presiding Judge for Administration, New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division.
