A fire at Giordano’s Recycling on Mill Road in Vineland, New Jersey injured two workers the morning of March 28, 2012, according to Firehouse.com. Based on initial reports, the fire started when a worker was cutting through a cylinder tank. The Fire Chief stated that the investigation will conclusively determine what happened, but it seems that the cylinder tank was still under pressure while it was being cut and the fire began after the material in the tank was released.
Two workers were injured as a result of the New Jersey workplace fire, according to the City Emergency Medical Services Chief. One was treated at the scene and the other was transported to South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center. Information on the extent of the workers’ injuries or their identities is not yet available.
