Blume Forte Secures $2.6 Million Verdict in Medical Malpractice Case

Blume Forte Fried Zerres & Molinari is proud to announce a significant verdict obtained by attorney Connor Turpan in a medical malpractice case last week. A jury in Atlantic County returned a $2.6 million verdict to a 42-year-old woman whose breast cancer diagnosis was delayed by approximately one year due to medical negligence.

The case involved allegations that a radiologist failed to properly interpret a diagnostic mammogram and make appropriate recommendations, and that her gynecology providers were negligent in their care. This delay in diagnosis worsened the woman’s long-term prognosis, necessitated radiation and additional surgeries she otherwise would not have needed, and caused her significant emotional distress.

“This verdict reflects the importance of accountability in the medical field and the life-altering impact a delayed diagnosis can have on a patient,” said Connor Turpan. “We are honored to have achieved justice for our client and hope this sends a clear message about the need for diligence in patient care.”

At Blume Forte, we remain steadfast in our commitment to advocating for those who have been harmed by medical negligence. This case highlights the dedication of our legal team in pursuing fair outcomes for our clients.
